| Please read these conditions carefully. We will send a further copy when you make a provisional booking and ask the person making the booking to sign and return a copy to us with the completed booking form and deposit. It is a condition of accepting your booking that we receive a signed indication that you have read and agreed to all the conditions. |
| Booking |
Bookings must be made on an appropriate booking form. The copy of the booking conditions must be signed and dated by the person making the booking. This together with a 30%* deposit must be returned as soon as possible. We cannot hold provisional bookings longer than 7 days. Unless you confirm your booking within this period you will lose your booking. We accept no liability for any loss incurred as a result of a lost booking. (*see payment schedule)

| Confirmation |
Confirmation of bookings will be sent on receipt of a fully completed booking form, acceptance of the booking conditions and appropriate deposit. |
| Charges |
Prices (other than specified offers) are per property per week and include reasonable* consumption of fuel and water. Rentals which fall in Low Season and December will incur an additional charge for heating/wood payable locally.
Prices include hire of linen and bathroom towels. Pool towels are not provided and house towels must not be used for swimming.
Prices include a simple Welcome Pack. For information on further services please refer to the "Facilities" page.
Use of the pool at Maison Calla is restricted during Low Season and December
* Meters are read at the beginning and end of each letting period. Reasonable consumption is deemed to be no more than 6,000 liters/week water and 70 units/week electricity. |
| Damages |
A deposit of £250 will be charged with the final balance. This is fully returnable within 3 weeks of departure from the property on condition that the property is left clean, tidy and with no unreasonable breakages. |
| Pets |
No pets are allowed at Maison Calla or Maison Canna without the prior and separate agreement of the owners |
| Smoking |
Smoking is not allowed in either house. |
| Safety |
It is a condition of the rental that you make all reasonable efforts to ensure the security of the property should it be left empty during your stay. IE windows closed, doors locked. Maison Calla only - Pool safety is the responsibility of the adults within the party who should be vigilant at all times with regards under-16's. No glasses are to be taken into the pool garden (plastic are supplied). When not in use the pool garden is to be locked at all times. Use of all amenities on either property is entirely at the guest's own risk. The owners cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to or from any motor vehicle on the property.
The hirer is strongly recommended to arrange comprehensive travel insurance including cover for personal possessions, public liability etc.

| Payment |
An initial deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking. A further payment of 20% is required 8 weeks prior to commencement of the booking and the final 50% plus damage deposit 6 weeks prior to commencement .Reminders for payment may not be issued. Failure to send payment in time may result in cancellation of part or all of the booking and the owners accept no liability for any loss as a result. |
| Cancellation |
Cancellation must be made in writing to the owners and will not be effective until received and acknowledged by the owners.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
Less than 6 weeks prior to arrival - No refund
8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of rate refunded
Up to 8 weeks prior - No cancellation charge
In the event that the owners have to cancel a booking for whatever reason, all deposits made by that date will be refunded.
Should you terminate your holiday earlier than the agreed dates for whatever reason, no part of the hire charge can be refunded. |
| Arrival/Departure |
Guests are requested not to arrive at either house before 4pm (16.00 hrs) and to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed) |
| Guests |
At no time must the number of guests staying at the property exceed the number given on the booking form |
| Damage |
Damages to the property are the sole responsibility of the guest. In the case where the cost of repair of damages exceeds the damage deposit the owners shall be entitled to seek compensation from the guests |
| Complaints |
Every effort is made to ensure the property meets your requirements. Please refer to the property inventory on arrival. If you have any complaint, you must notify the owner or the owners' representative within 48 hours of arrival or of the problem occurring. All information is given in good faith and believed to be correct. |
